Found out the problem. In the /test folder there are files accessing the database in the test/admin. For connecting to the database they used asp code that got database path by using server.mappath like this :
 connection.open ( server.MapPath("/test/admin/db1.mdb") )
When I changed it to the physical path everything worked :)
I would like to know why this happens - any ideas ?

Is there any .htaccess file inside /test ? Hello I have the following problem :
I want to lock the folder /test/admin on a web site
This works ok but thing is that the folder /test/ also gets locked ..
Haven't figured out why


My .htaccess file is

AuthName "Admin"
AuthUserFile "c:\websites\205\cellphones.gr\test\admin\.htpasswd"
Require valid-user

and is located on folder /test/admin

Any suggestions ?

IIS 6.0
Windows XP
