Hi Craig,

That's odd - I'll retest the build and see if its not pulling the right versions... (and I'll add app versions to the code).

I’ve been trying out the Web Service for IISPassword today, and I’ve hit a problem trying to get it to work.

When I add a user (Fred) by invoking the AddUser method with HTTP POST, I get a success message back: <string>SUCCESS:Fred</string>

However, the .htpasswd file is not updated.  Similarly when I try the UpdateUser method.  The ListUsers method works OK, and shows the users that I have added to the same .htpasswd file using the IISPassword UI and UserLine.

At first I thought it might be a permissions issue, but running a file access monitor it doesn’t appear that any write request is made to the file at all.

I’ve tried it on XP and Server 2003, on localhost and remotely.  The .asmx is dated 2 Sept, as is the app_code.dll (versioned as 0.0.0.0)

Your help would be much appreciated.
