Maybe this is already a function in the software that I haven't yet seen. It would be really cool if we could have a button in the whoson client to immediately add an offending IP address to the IIS IP ban-list.
Whenever I see a web visitor trying SQL injections, back-doors or other hacking methods I have to note the IP address through the whoson client, then login to my server, open the IIS config, manually add the IP address etc
Could this be done directly from a remote whoson-client (with admin role) via the whoson server and feed the banned IP directly into the IP ban list on IIS?
Thanks

Hi,
This is already a feature - but only if the site was imported from IIS when it was setup. If you import a site from IIS when creating a new site in WhosOn then WhosOn stores the IIS metadata link to the site. This then enables the Exclude from IIS feature.
This only works if WhosOn is run on the same machine as your IIS site itself.
