Turning a negative into a positive!
Hello, may I first say that I'm very impressed with Whoson! The program is great, but the support is even better! You have the service of a boutique, but the price and selection of a giant company!! OK, I am not a programmer and most of what I read here is Greek to me, but I do know sales, so here goes. The fraud detection comes across, to me, as a very negative feature. I have many customers that come back 10 to 12 times and sometimes more before they call (and sometimes they don't call!). Rather than "scold " them for returning, I would rather ask them why they don't call, offer them an incentive to call or in someway get them to call or at least come back. Do you or would you offer an alternative to the fraud detection? Thank you ![]() Dave Horwath |

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the comments.
The click fraud trigger should only activate if the visitor clicks through an on-line ad multiple times.
You have full control over the graphic that the visitor sees if click fraud is triggered. You can display a nice 'welcome back' image - it doesnt have to mention click fraud. You can change the image in the WhosOn site properties - chat - graphics option.
You can also switch it off altogether in the Visitor alerts settings.
Hope this helps.
Steve

Thank you. I did exactly that and used a welcome back message. I had it on and noticed it when I was home looking at my site. The click fraud warning came across my screen when I used the yahoo search engine, not pay per click. This is when I noticed, for the first time, the click fraud message. After fooling around with ideas I did exactly what you have suggested.
Thanks again for a great product! Dave Horwath |
