Hosted USA 2 Down (Amazon EC2 Outage)

   The issue that occurred on the 21st April at 10pm BST until 22nd April 2pm BST was due to an internal error at Amazon EC2 that affected all of their customers who were part of the North Virginia cluster of instances (that hostedusa2.whoson.com occupies). 
The issue has now been resolved but due to the service that Amazon provide not meeting our standards and the lack of notification for resolutions to issues like this, we will be moving the service that we provide to you via hostedusa2.whoson.com to another service provider (GoGrid) where a large number of our hosted servers already reside.  

The migration will take place during the night of 5th - 6th May at 9am BST. Any downtime will be kept to a minimum and if you have any questions then please let us know via support@parker-software.com.

	The hosted service for USA 2 has been successfully migrated from Amazon to GoGrid. The migration of data was completed by 11:50am BST (+5 hours EDT) on May 6th 2011. If you have any questions then please let us know. Edited by James Horton - 06 May 2011 at 12:02pm
