Is it possible to have a message pop up depending on certain rules, for example when a visitor accesses a page or leaves the site.
Bascially, like a dynamic invite, but without it being an invite, so that a visitor can't instigate a chat by clicking on the message |

This is not something that we currently support within the WhosOn product. The only messages we send to the visitors browsers are our dynamic invites for chat.
There are JavaScript methods for performing the requirements you have, and examples throughout the web, but unfortunately this is not something we offer within the WhosOn product.

Thats what an dynamic invite is - its a popup message that appears on the visitors browser based on pre-defined rules. The user can click the image to start a chat.
Its not possible within the standard invite to display something to the visitor when the leaves the site. You could create some javascript on the window close event but this is not recommended. In what way do you want the functionality different than the dynamic invites? Steve

we actually liked the idea of automating the display of a dynamic invite, but we only wanted to basically send a predfined message that couod be closed, without the capability of the message being clicked to start a chat. I know there are javascript metods that we could use to do this, but if it happened within Whoson the team would know that the mesage had been deployed
