When the chat ends (by user or operator), as far as the website user is concerned, it would be nice the "chatted" text stays on the windows so, the user can follow the given instructions or print if needed (the send box can be disabled or greyed out). Currently, it shows the message "Chat has ended" and everything goes away. We have disabled the option for users to email the transcript as it may contain confidential financial information which we don't want sitting in their email inboxes ready to be hacked.
We get quite a few comments from our users about the issue. Thanks

Hello MatrixIII,
Thank you for your feedback. This seems like a very good idea, I have submitted this to our Feature Request list for you.

another Problem is that a visitor might close the Chat window not "inside" the chat window but closes the
"ms windows window". Than the chat is deletet. It would be good that if you try to close the MS Window a message will be shown "please close the Chat by mouseclick on ...." |

Hello Birdy,
Unfortunately, this wouldn't be possible. As far as I am aware it is not possible to edit the browsers/windows behaviour through web code.
