Hello All - I am trying to get the POST to Twitter Trigger Action to work. When I click on 'Get Pin' - the web page http://www.email2db.com/ pops up. Normally I would expect to see some web page asking me to accept some Term and Conditions stuff. Its like the webpage on the site doesn't exist and rolls with a 404 error to the main page.
What am I doing wrong here... I am currently using Email2DB Enterprise Edition (Evaluation). Erick

Hi,
When you click Get Pin it opens the Twitter page. You then login to Twitter using your credentials.. to get the Pin number. Once you have the pin you enter it into Email2DB. Steve ![]() |

I am having the same problem. When I click on the GET PIN button it takes me to the Email2DB homepage and not to a place where I can enter my Twitter credentials to get the PIN.

Hi,
What operating system and web browser are you running Email2DB on?
Do you have a high security level on your web browser's configuration within Internet Options? I will see if I can recreate this issue if you are able to detail further your configuration or machine details. Thank you, |

Please try cancelling out of the Twitter post action and then close any currently open default web browser windows on your desktop. Then drag over the Twitter post action again and click Get Pin. Does this temporarily allow you to get a pin and not redirect you to Email2DB? I have been testing an noticed a problem with the Administrator for the clicking on the Get Pin a second time.
This has been passed to our developers. |

In reply to your first post I am using Windows XP and IE8.
In regards to your second post I actually changed my default browser to Firefox and then tried your suggestion. The GET PIN button still opens the Parker Software homepage. |

I believe the issue for this has been found and is pending release at the moment.
The resolution for the problem you are seeing should be within the next service pack. If I hear any further then I will update the thread accordingly. |

Is there any update on this? I'm still getting the Parker software page not any link to Twitter when I click on the Get Pin button.
Thanks

To my understanding this should have been resolved in a service pack during June/July. What version are you currently running? The current build is 3.0.1068. You can find your version under File.
Please update and if you are not using the latest version and this will assist. If you are not able to update due to Updates not being part of your contact with us, then please email support@parker-software.com for further information on how to solve. |
