Hello,
I upgraded from V2 to V3. From a script I run a report. In V2 I had a inactive trigger with a report designer on it, where I could load the RPX file in report designer if it had to be changed. But in V3 there is no possibility to load the rpx-file in report designer. Also when I create a new report in V3, I cannot find the rpx-file. I assume in V3 the reports are stored in database. Please could you tell me how I can change my RPX-files? Otherwise I have to create all reports again manually. thanks for your help, regards, Jan Rutger Voorhorst

Hi,
In V3 the report is stored inside the MetaData instead of being a separate file referenced by its filename. I'll add an option to the scripting to allow a report to be saved to a file, loaded & run from inside a script. Steve

Hi Steve,
thanks for your reply! That's one part of the solution. The other is editing or importing rpx-files into the report designer. Otherwise I have to rebuild all my V2 reports! The most easy to do this is enable file load and save menu in the ActiveReports designer. That way I can load the report from file and save to file. regards, Jan Rutger

Hi Jan,
I've added the open/save as buttons to the report designer - however it will be a week or so before this makes it into the next update. Steve

This is now included in the latest service pack (3.0.1014).
Choose File - Check For Updates in the Email2DB Admin to download.
